Who We Are:
Our story began in the early 1950s with Dr. Robert Taylor. By 1966 Dr. Taylor was joined by Dr. Harris Knudson and Dr. James Lum and the 3 formed Taylor, Knudson & Lum. Summary: The Chief X-Ray Tech assists in the diagnosis of disease or injury and assists the Imaging Facility Manager in the coordination of patient care and workflow activities of the specific modality.

Desert Radiology in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a Chief X-Ray Technologist.
Desert Radiology | Chief XRAY Tech | Centra Point | Full Time | Day Shift | 17388
Summary: The Chief X-Ray Tech assists in the diagnosis of disease or injury and assists the Imaging Facility Manager in the coordination of patient care and workflow activities of the specific modality.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and participates in the day-to-day functions of the modality
- Serves as the initial contact for modality-specific issues.
- Monitoring/troubleshooting issues related to workflow, work processes and backlog
- Updates modality specific protocols and policies
- Quality Control of Modality
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position)
- Knowledge of basic radiologic methods and techniques such as chest, upper and lower gastrointestinal, fluoroscopic, and skeletal procedures normally acquired through completion of a twenty-four-month radiologic technology training program.
