Department Overview

The Resource Planning and Strategy team oversees strategic planning, learning strategy, communications, and industry benchmarking and workforce strategy and development. Collaborates with leaders and Corporate Communications resources to develop and implement internal and external marketing communications, related to brand promotion. Leads the development of the Five-Year Strategic Plan for the enterprise.

Position Summary

The Program Manager, Principal responsible for development of data models and forecasts, as well as other key communications and deliverables of the Resource Planning and Strategy team. The successful candidate should be comfortable gleaning insights in the data discovery space and further communicating these actionable insights to all levels of company leadership, through the LEAN framework.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $140,000

Bay Area Maximum: $238,000

Job Responsibilities
  • Plans and manages the activities associated with responsible outcomes and deliverables.
  • Manages resources both internal and external to complete necessary development and improvement projects associated with the product.
  • Interacts with stakeholders to develop relevant insights and tools, manage enhancements, and regularly solicits feedback on application performance.
  • Project Management: Lead projects, determining scope, budget, timeframes, forming teams, assigning tasks, managing resources and issues.
  • Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Advises business leaders and addresses business issues, trends and opportunities.
  • Creates new ideas and innovative solutions to improve analysis methodologies and ensures effective development.
  • Coaches staff on product ownership.


Qualifications

Minimum
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years' of related work experience.


Desired
  • LSS Green Belt.
  • Prefer operational experience.
  • Experience in the Utility Industry.
  • Experience managing General Rate Case data requests and/or chapter management.
  • Strong data analysis and/or data science experience.
