We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Project Manager with a strong background in payments systems and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to lead critical initiatives across our financial technology landscape. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and execution of payment solutions.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Project Manager with a strong background in payments systems and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to lead critical initiatives across our financial technology landscape. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and execution of payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects focused on payments, EFT, and financial transaction systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and third-party vendors.
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables; create and maintain detailed project plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively driving resolution and communication.
- Oversee system integrations, migrations, and enhancements related to payment gateways, processors, and EFT platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NACHA, PCI DSS) and internal security protocols.
- Monitor and report project progress, budgets, and status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews and feedback loops.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5+ years in payments and EFT-focused projects.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, EFT, ACH, card networks, and banking protocols.
- Proven experience leading technical implementations and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or traditional Waterfall methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet).
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
- Background in financial services, banking, or fintech.
- Technical knowledge of APIs, middleware, and payment platform architecture.
