Position: Technical Guidewire Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Guidewire Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem deployments, and a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall solution design and technical architecture of Guidewire implementations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Define and enforce best practices for Guidewire configuration, integration, and development.
• Oversee the work of Guidewire developers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Participate in solution reviews and guide architectural decisions across integrations, data, and APIs.
• Lead cloud migrations or upgrades to Guidewire Cloud Platform, if applicable.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and futureproofing of Guidewire implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Guidewire architecture and development.
• Hands-on experience with one or more: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Proficient in Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, and configuration.
• Strong understanding of integration frameworks (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Messaging, ESB).
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Guidewire certifications such as Guidewire Certified Architect or ACE Certified.
