Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

Graham Technologies is seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to provide cybersecurity expertise in analyzing, assessing, and securing applications, systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in identifying, mitigating, and managing security risks while supporting security projects, technology implementations, and compliance initiatives.

Location: Huntsville, AL

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of secure systems and architectures across enterprise environments.
• Provide technical information security support and guidance during software purchases, system implementations, and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with IT operations, government units, and security teams to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and analyze system logs, security events, and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to incidents.
• Support the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Contribute to incident response, forensic investigations, and post-incident reviews.
• Utilize tools such as Splunk Enterprise Security and Microsoft Sentinel to collect, correlate, and analyze security data.
• Stay current with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to maintain robust security postures.

Required Skills:

• Must have an active TS; SCI Eligible or higher

• A bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security analysis
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel
• Certifications (one or more desired):

  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
