Description:
TelevisaUnivision's Content Publicity team is seeking a Senior Manager, Content Publicity to lead communications strategy and publicity campaigns for the company's entertainment properties across its portfolio, including Univision, UNIMS, Galavisin, local television stations, and audio platforms. This senior-level position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive publicity strategies that amplify and distinguish these entertainment brands in both Spanish and English language media outlets.
The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders, including programming, marketing, and digital teams, to align messaging and execute campaigns that drive visibility and engagement for the networks' priority entertainment content. This role involves managing relationships with top-tier media outlets, securing extensive media coverage, and overseeing all aspects of public relations for the entertainment-focused properties across the company's portfolio.
This role requires an experienced and innovative public relations professional with a deep understanding of the Hispanic entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will possess both strategic vision and tactical execution expertise, with the ability to lead high-profile campaigns and secure media coverage that resonates with diverse audiences.

The ideal candidate will possess both strategic vision and tactical execution expertise, with the ability to lead high-profile campaigns and secure media coverage that resonates with diverse audiences.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Develop and manage communications strategies and publicity campaigns to support a wide range of content, including scripted and non-scripted programming, prime time shows, TV specials, novelas, reality shows, and third-party acquisitions and partnerships.
- Create integrated campaigns that incorporate story development, editorial outreach, events, digital content strategy, and strategic influencer partnerships to effectively tell the network's content narrative across multiple platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including programming, marketing, and digital, to leverage promotional materials and key moments, identifying opportunities for storytelling and securing media coverage.
- Monitor and anticipate consumer media and social media trends, proactively seeding relevant stories and positioning content to drive engagement and visibility
- Develop and distribute timely, engaging materials, including press releases, media alerts, photos, and video assets to maximize media coverage.
- Partner with the corporate communications team to align and cross-promote initiatives, ensuring strategic positioning of ratings, programming, and key content in consumer press.
- Prepare executives and talent for speaking engagements, interviews, and press opportunities, ensuring consistent messaging and high-quality media interactions (media training).
- Manage and oversee a team and external agency partners, providing leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure the successful execution of publicity campaigns and alignment with overall communication strategies.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in public relations or other relevant business field
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Established media relationships with editors and journalists covering the entertainment industry
- Experience working with talent.
- Strong writing and editing skills for developing key messages, press releases, executive remarks, fact sheets and other press materials in both English and Spanish.
- Experience working closely with editorial leaders and senior executives.
- Experience leveraging social media platforms to amplify and promote projects such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter.
