Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today's technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect!
Responsibilities
Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of Family Law litigation
Able to work independently while handling multiple files
Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
