Job Title: HVAC Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the design, planning, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction or existing buildings within the commercial and industrial industries.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise HVAC projects from start to finish
  • Manage and coordinate HVAC technicians and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
  • Handle IOMs and other associated close-out documents
  • Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC team members
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
Essential Skills
  • 2-5 years of project management experience within the commercial and/or industrial space
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading to interpret HVAC system designs and specifications
  • Experience working with contracts, including reviewing, negotiating, and managing contract terms
  • Excellent project management skills to plan, organize, and execute HVAC projects
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Proficient in project scheduling to create timelines and allocate resources accordingly
  • Familiarity with MS Office including spreadsheets, emails, and word processing
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid, ProCore, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam
  • Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Work Environment

Business casual attire. No jeans. Work hours are from 7am-5/6pm, Monday to Friday. No travel required. The role involves spending 70% of the time in the new office and 30% out at job sites meeting owners, architects, and building relationships with subcontractors. All business is conducted in Southeast Michigan. Once direct, the employee will receive a company vehicle, fuel card, and additional company benefits.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.27/hr.
