Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Services, the Human Resources Business Partner serves as the Human Resources (HR)
point of contact for the leadership team of an assigned Business Unit and Region. S/he provides focused human resources
consulting in the areas of workforce planning, organizational development, leadership development, diversity and inclusion,
performance management, employee relations, succession planning, and talent management. This position will deliver
corporate initiatives, assess issues and generates subsequent solutions, manage the implementation of enterprise wide HR
programs, and manage in an shared services environment.

Essential Functions
- Enhance and build the capability of the business by incorporating the people component into strategic planning,
development and assessment - Collaborate with other HR COEs (D&I, Internal Recruiting, Talent Management, Employee Relations) to enhance the service
levels to customers - Advise regional and local leadership in matters relating to people, HR processes and policies, employment law, HR
programs and corresponding impact on the business - Partner with regional and local leadership to create action plans to enhance employee engagement and drive diversity
and inclusion - Partner with BU, regional and local leadership and Talent Management to assess, select and develop employees for
succession planning programs - In conjunction with HRM, advise reginal business leaders on performance management issues impacting business
initiatives. - Analyze people data and information to identify gaps and make impacts improving business efficiency.
- Direct Investigations and implement resolutions to employee relations matters involving internal employees
- Provide individualized executive coaching to regional and local leadership, as required, to help drive high performance
teams - Manage and drive project-based work that impacts region or HR department
- Demonstrate behavior that promotes an inclusive work environment, models inclusive behavior and supports operational
activities that fosters diversity
Education | Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field required
- Master's Degree or HR Certification preferred
- 10-15 years of experience in the field required
- 5-7 years of experience or more in Human Resources and Management, preferably with an emphasis on Strategic Human Resources
- Engineering Services experience required
Skills | Abilities
- Computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Use of PeopleSoft an plus
- Current knowledge of HR practices and Employment Law
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively
with leadership - Prior Management experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
