Description of Duties:
The Mission Unique Equipment (MUE) Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Provide Tier 2/3 resolution for break-fix issues and hardware/software conflicts. Provide tailored support for unique mission equipment at multiple locations.
Support installs and configuration of Windows servers, storage platforms and workstations.
Support the testing and installation of system patches, the completion of customer request impact assessments, and the execution of IT project planning and design activities to determine future requirements of customer hardware and software.
Participate in IT project teams, devise technical solutions to complicated issues and projects, and support systems sustainment.
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provide backup recovery
Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Have ancillary duties that may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
The successful candidate will:
Have the ability to adapt to new technologies, new situations, & short deadlines.
Be able to work unsupervised.
Have a strong commitment to a team environment.
Primary duty hours fall within the 0600-1800, Monday - Friday time period with occasional off shift, extended hours or weekend support requirements.

Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 2 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 0 years of general experience.
Must have 2.5 years of related experience in business systems, operating systems, servers and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting.
Must have an understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems. Microsoft Server 2012.
Must have an understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
Must have experience performing remote administration.
Must have an understanding of DISA STIGs & RMF.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE.
Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
Have experience with audio visual systems
Have experience with Virtual Desktop Environment Support
Have experience with storage appliances configuration
Have experience using the Remedy software action request system
Have experience with Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Have experience with DoD and DISA Information Assurance programs
Have knowledge of Missile Defense, DoD communications systems and MDIOC operations.
Have a degree in an IT or Engineering related discipline
Have a current DoD Top Secret clearance
Have any of the following certifications: A+, Network+, MCSA: Windows 10
This position is expected to pay $71,700 - $96,700 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
