What You'll Do
- Operate magnetic resonance (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and X-ray imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques, operate imaging consoles and peripheral hardware, and ensure high-quality image capture.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer and store images, and prepare film transparencies using an automatic processor.
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Maintain and enforce all patient safety protocols related to imaging procedures.
- Actively participate in committees and initiatives including Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Employee Satisfaction.
- Perform other imaging-related tasks and duties as assigned.
Who We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registration in Radiography is required; MRI registry.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- At least two years of professional MRI experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred.
- A patient-centered professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality care
What We Offer
- $29.38 - $61.94 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
- $10,000 Sign-on Bonus (If Eligible)
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
