Job Description:
Providing direct support to the USMC MAGTF working on requirements gathering, stakeholder communications and coordination, and solutions implementation of the Watchtower solution.
Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer working on advanced technology in support United States Marine Corps. The position requires competency across a complex set of software and network communications systems across multiple programs used by USMC MAGTFs. The job entails employment of advanced data ecosystems for the TAK community using enhancements to the Watchtower ecosystem. The Large Language Models (LLMs) being integrated into Watchtower will enable the programs to take advantage of data sharing and unified data concepts to provide real-time insights into operational capabilities, performance, security, and user behavior. These tools will be used to support streamlined planning and program requirements assessment and alignment. This position will be customer facing and is intended to significantly improve USMC program planning and execution in support the MAGTFs.

Responsibilities:
- As a senior systems engineer your primary responsibility will be to work with the customer and the Sherpa Watchtower team to deploy advanced Watchtower capabilities for supporting analysis including TAK software development roadmaps, unit requirements analysis, and advanced communications tools. This work will be in addition to the implementation of existing MDM and system configuration tools already in place with TAK and the current version of Watchtower.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Military experience - Marine Corps preferred
- SME in TAK, TAK Server, and familiarity with the TAK governance process
- Familiarity with multiple communication and software systems used by MAGTFs
- Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex requirements traceability tracking
- Superior verbal and writing communication skills
- Must be a US citizen
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Watchtower, various operating systems, the use of virtual machines
- CCNA, Network+ certification, VMWare VCTA-NV
