Are you ready to take charge of exciting construction projects and lead them to success? We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Project Manager to join our team at the Sacramento Railyards. What You'll Do:
  • Lead and Manage: Oversee all aspects of project operations, from planning and budgeting to coordinating with clients and contractors.
  • Be the Go-To Person: Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, owners, and end-users, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Financial Wizardry: Handle budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and billings with precision.
  • Documentation Guru: Prepare RFIs, manage change orders, and keep meticulous records.
  • Procurement Pro: Procure materials and manage delivery schedules to keep the project on track.
  • Team Player: Attend meetings and coordinate schedules with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Design Support: Collaborate with the design team on design/build projects.
  • Client Champion: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company procedures, safety guidelines, and contracts.
What You Bring:
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing construction projects, especially in the electrical construction industry.
  • RFIs and Change Orders: Skilled in handling RFIs and managing change orders.
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor and oversee a team of 5, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in electrical design, project engineering, and electrical engineering.
  • Estimation and Coordination:Experience in estimation, cost management, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a positive approach to solutions.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Educational Background : High school diploma or GED required; degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the electrical construction industry as a Field Engineer and/or Estimator.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
