About the Role

You will be managing the Evisort design team at Workday, where you'll be responsible for planning, supporting, and delivering on the product roadmap and providing our customers with world class AI in a world class user experience. You'll be a player-coach for the design team, managing their work but also helping them grow and leveling up the entire organization's skills and outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ship world class features with world class experiences to our customers, including for functionality that has no precedent and requires heavy imagination and innovation.
  • Build and implement a comprehensive UX strategy and vision
  • Lead the development of strategic deliverables that support cross-organizational teamwork and long-term business success
  • Influence peers and stakeholders through strategic leadership and effective communication
  • Anticipate and respond to changing market conditions, business requirements, and user needs, with a focus on AI and ML in an enterprise environment
  • Develop and translate a strategic point-of-view into actionable plans that drive execution and key results
  • Deliver outstanding user-centric product solutions that address complex requirements
  • Serve as player-coach to the design team to help each of them contribute and grow
  • Shape Design best practices and standards
  • Positively impact team efficiency, resource utilization, and other relevant metrics

About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of managing user experience and product design teams
  • 8+ years of experience with product, service, and solution design
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, preferably Generative AI.

Other Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise systems like Contract Lifecycle Management, Customer Relationship Management, or Business Intelligence.
  • Experience creating, executing, and delivering against a product roadmap and driving business impact within a high level of complexity.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with senior designers, and executives in product management and engineering.
  • Experience successfully leading and lifting distributed UX teams.
  • Have a clear demonstration of elevating product craft.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managerial and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Graphic, Interaction, Industrial, Architecture, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary UX teams


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $176,000 USD - $264,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $167,200 USD - $297,600 USD

If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $176,000 - $264,000 USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
