We specialize in IP software tailored to high-performance legal operations, and we're growing fast. Our team is passionate about delivering smart, actionable solutions that empower IP professionals and their organizations.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced IP Software Implementation Consultant to join our Client Success team. In this role, you'll serve as the critical connection between our clients and our proprietary software platform-leading implementations, training users, and optimizing processes that help legal teams thrive.
You'll bridge legal, technical, and operational priorities-guiding stakeholders from initial discovery through go-live. You'll be a key voice in change management, workflow optimization, and client success.

If you're an IP operations expert with a strong technical background and a passion for transforming how teams work, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead full-cycle software implementations from scoping to go-live and post-launch support
  • Translate client business goals into functional system design and configuration
  • Guide stakeholders through system transitions and process redesigns
  • Perform initial platform configuration and support UAT and QA testing
  • Document requirements, use cases, SOPs, and training materials
  • Conduct hands-on training and mentor client-side users on Quartz IP software
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to suggest improvements and future features
  • Track and report project timelines, key deliverables, and system adoption metrics
  • Work across IP operations, legal, and IT functions to ensure project success

What You Bring
  • 5+ years in Intellectual Property operations, preferably within a legal department or law firm
  • Proven experience with IP Management Systems (CPI, FoundationIP, Patricia, Inprotech, etc.)
  • Knowledge of USPTO and international filing procedures; patent and trademark exposure preferred
  • Experience with legal document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments)
  • Confidence in gathering requirements, writing documentation, and presenting to diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-you're tactful, clear, and persuasive
  • Comfort with both high-level strategy and tactical problem-solving
  • Experience supporting change management and driving user adoption
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Bonus Points For
  • Prior experience in consulting or client services
  • Certifications in legal operations, project management (PMP, CSM), or software implementation
  • Experience working with international IP portfolios or annuity systems
  • Familiarity with data migration, cleansing, or systems integrations

Why Quartz IP
  • Remote-first culture with flexible work hours
  • Mission-driven team with deep industry expertise
  • High-impact work with top-tier legal clients
  • Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
  • A collaborative, ego-free environment where your insights matter
