Description:

As a Retail Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving large scale cross-functional retail initiatives, including defining the operational strategy and leading the execution across multiple teams and organizations at Meta. This position drives operating strategy and execution in retail areas including, but not limited to new store openings (temporary & permanent), Test & Learn initiatives, demo and retail technology implementations while leveraging internal platform tools and solutions. You will be partnering with in person and virtual teams and may manage multiple projects pending the bandwidth required. We are looking for an experienced retail professional who can partner with cross functional teams on complex, multifaceted retail initiatives at consumer scale while maintaining clarity of the retail mission and organizational awareness.

Retail Program Manager (PgM), Cross-Meta Programs Responsibilities

  • Define and lead program execution strategy for multiple areas of retail activations and initiatives
  • Develop effective relationships with all retail and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Build project teams with 'customer focus' and effective communication with a bias for decisive, fast-moving solutions, quick and constructive resolutions to conflicts, and a "no barriers" mentality.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, including allocating resources and tracking financial performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to build integrated plans & objectives inclusive of overall retail strategies
  • Define and improve overall new retail implementation processes, including planning, gating and jeopardy management making tradeoffs where needed to achieve results.
  • Monitor program progress and performance, providing regular reporting on key metrics and identifying areas for improvement
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information, defining cadences and processes, including status updates to leadership, escalations and mitigations and overall documentation management in partnership with the business groups
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, balance business objectives and needs versus technical and operational constraints


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or BA Degree
  • 8+ years experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program/project management experience, with 4+ years of cross-functional management including virtual team management.
  • Experience building, optimizing and scaling programs and teams
  • Experience interacting with and influencing multiple cross-functional stakeholders and executive management. Experience communicating change management to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience embracing ambiguity, driving a team to perform at their best, being detail-oriented, and delivering information in a highly organized manner.
  • Experience in pivoting quickly and adapting to business needs while communicating and informing a team of shifting priorities.
  • Capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decision to solve problems, manage risks, and make strategic decisions
  • Experience with budgeting, cost controls, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Program Management (e.g. Prince2 or PMP)
  • Experience managing Test & Learn programs within retail
  • Domain expertise in Retail or Consumer Electronics
  • Experience with leading organizational transformation and process improvement

$142,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
