Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud and data security for companies, capable of authorizing transactions across global currencies.
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Strategy Associate to join our team, with a focus on the strategic redevelopment of pre-bureau and post-fraud application decisioning rules. This role is pivotal in optimizing operational efficiency, elevating the customer application experience, and fostering transparency and consistency in reporting across Acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills, and thrive in a matrixed organizational structure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of pre-bureau and post-fraud application decisioning rules to the Acquisitions team
- Identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency within the application decisioning process
- Drive the development of control monitoring reports and procedures to quickly identify and mitigate emerging issues and measure potential business impacts
- Lead the reporting consolidation and automation efforts across Acquisitions, ensuring clarity and consistency while maintaining necessary level of detail
- Build relationships across departments, serving as a liaison to ensure cohesive efforts in a matrixed organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services or card industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and manage cross-functional projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
