Your role
Are you analytical and execution oriented with experience in the alternative investment financing market? Do you have a legal or credit background with an understanding of financial contract documentation? Do you enjoy working with financial advisors and family offices?
originate financing transactions for a cross-divisional team focused on providing financing to family offices, institutional investors, and asset managers on their alternative asset portfolios
primary assets include private equity, hedge funds, and co-investments
manage client engagement and deal execution, with support of existing team and resources, from start to finish
conduct initial risk assessment, pricing and return analysis, negotiation of terms, and follow through to legal documentation and final closing
engage collaboratively with other deal team members from internal and external legal, credit, due diligence, and capital management
construct internal deal memos targeted to senior management and approval committees, pulling together feedback from other deal team and diligence professionals
operate financial models and guide the production of marketing presentations
collaborate with other product specialists and stakeholders across the UBS Investment Bank, Asset Management and Global Wealth Management
Detailed salary information:
New York: the salary range for this role is $225000 to $275000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
Based in UBS' New York office, you will be working within the Global Lending Unit's Hedge Fund and Private Equity Financing group. This team has a cross-divisional mandate and executes financing transactions for clients of UBS' Wealth Management and Investment Banking Divisions across a broad range of alternative assets.
