What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions?

Our team's mandate is to develop Espresso HR/Pay, a Human Resources Management solution dedicated to the needs of the Quebec healthcare network. As a Programmer-Analyst, you will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of this solution.

How will your contributions be showcased?
  • Perform design, development, and unit testing according to current standards;
  • Manage tight deadlines, while having a good eye for detail, and good problem solving and analytic skills;
  • Act as a level 3 resource for operations and production support;
  • Collaborate with members of the Scrum team (Business Analyst, Developers and Product Owner (PO)) to bring projects to fruition;
  • Demonstrate leadership in the continuous improvement of our operating procedures, solutions, and inter-departmental coordination;
  • Comply with current methods, standards, procedures, and policies.


Qualifications

What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in C/C++ programming, and in C# programming with .NET;
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle databases (PL/SQL) is needed;
  • Experience working with Visual studio 2022;
  • Required experience working with version management tools (Git) in a collaborative team context;
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are needed;
  • Collaborative and excellent interpersonal relations are required;
  • The candidate will need to be highly adaptable, autonomous, curious, resourceful, with a capacity to learn quickly;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to document while synthesizing information clearly and concisely are needed;
  • This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating, orally and in writing, with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.

The following assets will be strongly considered as added value:
  • Experience in continuous integration/deployment;
  • Working experience with Dev Express;
  • Working experience with Citrix server;
  • Working experience in Java;
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools;
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Management systems;
  • Knowledge of the Quebec healthcare sector;
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology;
