Operate under general direction and assist in the design, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance of computer systems and/or software solutions to increase business effectiveness. Help solve problems and create new opportunities to assist in the achievement of business goals. Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards documents.
Specific Responsibilities
Functional Skills:
- Control the project scope, resources, and project quality within budget and schedule to meet objectives. Provide spirited, positive contribution of systems projects. Challenge obsolete practices; question accepted truths. Develop practical systems scope that enhances the business function.
- Develop an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes. Provide analysis, counsel, and incorporate a feedback loop with end customers to ensure efficient operation of systems and/or programs.
- Provide inputs for project review meetings and management presentations, including general design review, project scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and system implementation plans.
- Prepare and publish systems project status reports. Comply with Systems Development standards, procedures, guidelines, priorities, and schedules.
- Develop detail system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Write computer programs. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program testing. Coordinate/perform system and program implementation and modification. Research systems and/or programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions.
- Participate in educational programs and professional societies involving analysis, leadership skills, computing technology, and systems methodologies.
- Conduct educational programs involving company personnel relating to computing technology and specific projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements
Looking for an entry to mid-level Systems Analyst with bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems or software engineering and or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years in SQL coding and development (SQL Server)
- 1-3 years in cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of creating and maintaining SQL queries, data integration and knowledge of combining complex data for analysis.
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Solutions (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining while leveraging visualization tools
- Programming experience in tools like SAS, Python and R is preferred
- Possess working knowledge of ETL and ETL processes
- Good knowledge in Microsoft tools like Power BI, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred. Under some circumstances, an Associate Degree in Information Technology and minimum 5 years' experience will be accepted.
