THE ROLE
Do you have a flair for numbers and financial principles? Are you a self-motivated, driven individual who thrives in
a busy environment and enjoys maintaining relationships with different departments? Join our driven accounting
team; we are looking for someone who can assess business trends to help in revenue generation. Do you have
what it takes?
Range: $88k - $95K
THIS IS WHAT A DAY AT WORK MAY BE LIKE...
Examine financial data for accuracy and analyze account balances & trends.
Work with other departments, store employees, banks, mangement, etc. to complete day to day financial
operations.
Review balance sheet account reconciliations & research variances.
Prepare balance sheet and income and loss statement at the end of month.
Review coding of payments for approval by management.
Work with subsidiaries to record intercompany accounting journal entries.
Lead audit procedures performed by internal & external auditors.
Be open to taking on other responsibilities within the Accounting Department as time permits.
ABOUT YOU...
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
Understanding of GAAP and its application in a retail company.
5-10 years of experience.
Computer Savvy, Excel Guru.
Self-starter, time-management and ability to take ownership of projects.
Enjoy working with other departments to achieve set tasks? Perfect!
Again, tell me how analytical you are from 1-10? Problem solving? Decision Making?
Being passionate about your development as well as that of our SP family.
