As the first dedicated Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products and platform delight our customers by leading client implementations on our SaaS platform from the ground up. This is a great opportunity to advance our team's performance by leveraging your deep experience in process, tools, and internal and client communication.
The Ideal TPM understands the technical nuances of SaaS platform implementations with large healthcare datasets, and how to build a repeatable process to support our growing client base. You will collaborate and serve as the main point of contact for clients during implementations, coordinating across Product, Engineering, and Actuarial Delivery to drive successful customer outcomes.

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as the candidate's geographic location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided here. The range listed is for candidates based in San Francisco, California. Salary does not include the value of our generous equity grants of ISO stock options.

What you'll do:
- Planning and executing client implementation projects to our SaaS platform in a repeatable process to enable Arbital to scale quickly.
- Building project plans for each individual client, as well as across all clients for internal planning purposes.
- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Identifying, tracking, and managing project risks and issues, taking proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Ensuring that all risks are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders and that mitigation strategies are put in place.
- Conducting post-project reviews to assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned into future projects.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Actuarial Delivery teams to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables, and resolving technical issues to deliver on client timelines.
- Communicating project status to stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Creating repeatable processes across cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project objectives and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, providing status updates, reports, and addressing concerns or risks.

What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a high tech software company with at least 2 years in project management or a similar role, preferably in a software, technology, or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data (Claims, pharmacy, etc.), is strongly preferred. Understanding of the nuances of large, regulated datasets is a must.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
- Experience with project management software and other collaboration tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and solve problems under tight deadlines.
- Startup experience is highly preferred
