Job Description:
  • Build data expertise and own data quality for the pipelines built.
  • Architect, build, and launch new data models and data marts that provide intuitive analytics to customers.
  • Design, build, and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data (both large and small amounts) into and out of the Data Warehouse.
  • Design and develop new systems and tools to enable the company to consume and understand data faster.
  • Use coding skills across a number of languages including Python and Java.
  • Support the company's analytics needs through the reports, analyses, and insights driven by data and build data solutions.
  • Integrate third party data to enrich the company's data environment and enable new analytic perspectives.
  • Work across multiple teams in high visibility roles and own solutions end-to-end.
  • Work with program managers, business partners, and other engineers to develop and prioritize project plans.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 year of progressive experience with implementing data business solutions at production scale.
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of progressive experience with implementing data business solutions at production scale in lieu of a Master's degree and 1 year of experience.
  • Work experience to include: 1. Software development with at least one of the following object-oriented programming tools: Java or Python. 2. Structured Query Language (SQL). 3. Building, maintaining, and automating extract, transform, and load (ETL) jobs. 4. Programming in Jenkins and Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools. 5. Amazon Web Services (AWS) services including one of the following: S3, Elastic MapReduce (EMR), Elastic Compute Cloud/ Elastic Container Service (EC2/ECS), Athena, Cloud Formation (CF), Jenkins, Code pipeline, or Code build. 6. Cloud Data Warehouses including Amazon Redshift. 7. Hadoop and Spark, including manipulating data with Hive, Python, or Java. 8. Amazon Web Services (AWS) streaming technologies and concepts used with data warehouses. 9. Automation and orchestration platforms including Airflow.
  • 40 hrs./wk.
  • Salary: $169,217 to $174,217 per year.
