Senior Technical Statistician 2

Responsible for using statistical methods to develop and scale proprietary machine learning components in the platform to provide users with cutting edge functionality. Analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information. Prioritize technical statistical tasks within a given software application project or area based on customer needs. Develop and implement forward looking machine learning software application solutions for future and current issues. Analyze and revise machine learning statistical methods, code, and designs. Collaborate with Machine Learning Statisticians to improve statistical software features and statistical applications across the core platform. Design and develop statistical application features for customer satisfaction. Serve as point of contact on statistical software application design and features. Develop ways to refactor and continuously improve existing statistical code in the core platform and backend infrastructure. Coordinate across teams on statistical application projects. Improve statistical software developments by implementing high performance and low maintenance machine learning features. Identify and resolve bugs within machine learning features. Requires a Master's degree in Statistics or a closely related degree. Demonstrated knowledge in data analysis, matrices, and arrays; conditional expressions, loops, and functions; and high level visualization of data using R statistical language. Demonstrated knowledge of parameter estimation, Bayesian inference, and nonparametric estimation. Demonstrated knowledge of multidimensional contingency tables, Poisson regression, and logistic regression. Demonstrated knowledge of Hilbert spaces, Gaussian processes, Variational Analysis, and concentration inequalities. Knowledge may be gained during post-secondary degree program.
