Your Role

The Endpoint Strategy and Management team responsible for all engineering all aspects of client devices. The Senior Windows Endpoint Administrator will report to the Sr manager for Productivity Engineering. In this role you will manage all aspects of the windows workstation. This includes enrolling new devices, software management and configuration management through the entire lifecycle of the devices.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Manage enterprise workstations with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)/Intune as well as Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Manage Microsoft Windows workstation build process with Microsoft autopilot
  • Perform unit testing of packages, application configurations, images and configuration performance using manual and automated testing tools
  • Deploy and support scalable, secure, highly available, and reliable workloads across a multi-cloud presence (Azure, GCP, and AWS); analyze related technology requirements
  • Support the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud leveraging a cloud migration factory model approach; lead workload analysis
  • Apply GitOps/IaC concepts and related tooling to execute operations (Version Control Systems, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, selfservice automation platforms)
  • Collaborate across a multi-functional team (DevOps model) in support of a product-centric organization
  • Contribute to the development of cloud governance decision making and processes
  • Serve as 3rd and nth level support for all client related issues in keeping with the organization's incident and problem management escalation procedures


Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge of endpoint management solutions such as MS Systems Center (SCCM),MS SQL Reporting, MS Bitlocker, MS Windows Server, print management
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Client OS deployment, management and troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge of MAC OSX, VMWare Workstation, VMWare vSphere, Bomgar, MBAM, AppV, ThinApp, among other related and supportive technologies

  • Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above).Exceptions:

o Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
