Description:

Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager for our Olean, NY location. As the HR Manager, you will lead the HR function for the site, providing leadership and support to approximately 130 employees. You will serve as a business partner to the Plant Manager and functional leaders on the team. Our manufacturing facility in Olean, NY is a critical site for our division, producing several key electrical products for our internal and external customers. Relocation assistance from within the US is provided!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you'll do:
Drive organizational change and deploy Human Resources policies, practices, and programs to build organizational capability, shape our culture to be trusting and inclusive, and ensure we have the best talent to execute on our strategy.
Work with division leadership, functional leaders, and site managers to align human resources programs and initiatives with key business objectives.
Counsel and influence leadership regarding policies, practices, laws, and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are in compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements.
Drive effective development and execution of training programs and practices, providing leadership and guidance where necessary.
Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees, utilizing management of Environmental, Health & Safety (MESH) to ensure compliance and continue to drive our journey towards a "zero incidents" culture.
Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees, making work exciting, engaging, and meaningful for all.
Support plant operations through planning headcount and recruitment of all levels of staff as required.
Manage local compensation for both salaried and hourly workforce, including benchmarking within Eaton and external marketplace data.
Support leaders in managing talent and executing people-related tasks. Establishes strong relationships with people leaders, becoming a credible and influential leader, and provides valuable suggestions.
Foster a culture of manager ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle.
Facilitate a culture where best practices are shared across HR and the business, and identify opportunities for synergy and integration between businesses. Benchmark industry and local best practices to set stretch performance targets.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of human resources experience OR a graduate of a human resources leadership development program.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in human resources, Labor Relations, Industrial/Organization Psychology, or related field HR Certification.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Leader of people experience.

Skills:
Ability to drive results, influence, and lead in a matrixed organization and environment.
Knowledge of relevant local/state/federal/provincial employment laws.
Strong drive for results and sense of urgency.
Data analytics and strong project management skills.
Commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement.
Effective communication and collaboration with all levels within the organization.
Excellent facilitation/coaching skills - strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to drive cultural change and leadership ownership/accountability.
Full range of developed HR competencies in organizational development, employee relations, recruiting and selection, compensation/benefits, and compliance.
