Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes within an organization
- Process Development: Design and improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes
- Project Management: Oversee projects from conception through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Compliance: Ensure processes comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines
- Training and Development: Mentor and train team members, promoting continuous improvement and professional development
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor process performance and implement improvements
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or Ph. D. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
- Lean Six Sigma training (Blue, Green or Black belt)
- Leadership experience
- Proficiency in process simulation software, data analysis tools, and project management software
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
