The Role

The Healthcare Enterprise Architect (EA) is part of the US Chief Technology Officer organization. As such they are part of setting the technical capabilities, roadmap, and technical vitality to enable Kyndryl US's goals. Deep expertise as an Enterprise Architect leader that has demonstrated excellence in Ent Architecture frameworks, reusable artifacts, governance, and development of architect talent.

The EA is a partner to the Healthcare Market Leader and is the technical authority and de facto technical leader to them. They are responsible for aligning the right technical capabilities and solutions to achieve desired business results. Applies business and technical insight of the customer and Kyndryl to ensure viability of technical activities and programs and influences the customer's strategic architecture, roadmap and initiatives. Act as industry and technical thought leader and growth engine for the market. Demonstrates deep insight of the Industry, Client's Business Goals and technical environments and combines that with insight of Kyndryl's capabilities and strategy and how to apply them for Client / Business Benefit. Provides oversight and ensures the viability of all technical activities and programs, coordination across technical and organizational domains. Influences, shapes, or co-creates strategic architecture, roadmap, and initiatives. Performs architecture reviews to ensure solution quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Success
  • The Healthcare Enterprise Architect is the senior technical authority and de facto technical leader.
  • Provides oversight and ensures the viability of all technical activities and programs for the accounts in Healthcare
  • Provides coordination across technical and organizational domains
  • Has technical insight of client's business / industry and technical environments, including strategic partnerships. Applies that insight with their technical knowledge of Kyndryl's capabilities and strategy and how to apply them for customer's business benefit
  • Provides thought leadership of the healthcare industry and the competitive landscape
  • Influences, shapes, or co-creates strategic architecture, roadmap and initiatives


Commercial Success
  • Collaborates with the Customer and Consult Partner to develop pipeline of new opportunities and build credibility with existing and new clients
  • Collaborates with Market leader on Go To Market (GTM) strategies and identifying "big bets" / priorities of client engagements
  • Leads a team of architects and ensures the end-to-end solutions are coherent
  • Able to demonstrate to the customer that the proposed technical solution is viable and meets their business strategy and goals
  • Provides technical insight and leadership throughout business development cycle, including complex RFS fulfilment, in collaboration with Partners

  • Possesses strong core architecture skills, strategic thinking, technical breadth and depth, ability to work across diverse technology and business domains to bring the best end-2-end solutions for the industry and clients priority areas.
  • Demonstrates ability to dive deep technically with client technology leaders and easily pivot to discussing the business problem and benefits with client's business leaders.
  • Has a proven track record applying architectural disciplines on large and technically complex programs
  • Works closely with customers to understand their goals, needs and constraints, establish the vision and bring the best end-2-end solution to them.
  • Demonstrates industry knowledge, understands partnership ecosystem and partner solutions


People
  • Fosters relationships and a collaborative culture with Kyndryl Partners, Account teams, consult partners, architects and others to create exceptional client experience and a sustainable business
  • Acts as a technical leader in Kyndryl - mentor, coach, share knowledge and best practice, nurture and treasure the technical community

Who You Are
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Technology and Architecture.
  • Proven experience with large-scale IT transformation initiatives and technical solutions, architectural design
  • Minimum 5 years Healthcare Expertise.
