About this opportunity:

Ericsson is seeking a highly motivated professional with experience in the field of telecommunications billing to serve as a Strategic Product Manager (SPM) for Ericsson Billing products. Strategic Product Managers are responsible for defining the business strategy and related evolution of Ericsson Billing products, which provide monetization solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) in the business segments of consumer (B2C), enterprise (B2B), and partner ecosystems (B2B2X). An experienced SPM will bring and further develop deep knowledge of customers' current and future monetization business drivers, billing technology advancements, cloud technology, AI/ML, billing services and operations, and competitors' strengths and weaknesses.

What you will do:

The SPM role will give individuals the opportunity to apply their depth of knowledge in billing by supporting billing customers globally as well as managing the financial aspects of the billing product and related services.

  • Driving overall investments for Ericsson billing products and services to define a roadmap of enhancements that bring the best value to the marketplace
  • Taking responsibility for driving commercial launches and go-to-market communications
  • Engaging with customer opportunities to showcase and align the future roadmap of investments
  • Managing the financial plan of Ericsson billing products and services
  • Defining future strategic investments in AI/ML-based services related to monetization


The skills you bring:

The successful SPM candidate will bring deep expertise in the field of telecommunications billing, and experience with Ericsson Billing products is preferred. The person must also have strong communication skills, as the SPM will serve as the overall voice to address business innovation and challenges with end customers, as well as with Ericsson internal groups, including services, sales, and product development/support.

  • Telecom/BSS architectures - network, BSS/OSS, mediation, self-care, customer experience, and back-office applications
  • Postpaid rating, charging, invoicing, and financial payment handling
  • Collections and dunning
  • Fraud and revenue assurance
  • Hardware and software development architectures
  • Containerized deployment knowledge - Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud vendors
  • AI/ML architectures and applications
  • Strong communication skills
