Position Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Secure New Opportunities: Proactively target, qualify, and advance new sales opportunities within Life Science organizations to ensure successful deal closures and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies for data quality products, including data normalization and NLP solutions, with a focus on expanding the customer base and addressing market needs.
  • Client Engagement: Create and implement detailed client engagement plans with specific objectives for all interactions to build strong relationships and drive sales.
  • Sales Presentations and Collateral: Design and deliver impactful sales presentations and develop high-quality collateral that effectively communicates the value of the solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong revenue pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Own and maintain accurate business forecasts, providing clear visibility and predictability to sales leadership for effective decision-making.
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of enterprise-level sales or business development experience in Life Sciences, with a focus on SaaS solutions.
  • Expertise in NLP/AI sales is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in targeting and developing leads, managing pipelines, crafting proposals, and closing high-value subscription-based accounts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities to leverage data and metrics for validating assumptions, supporting recommendations, and driving strategic actions.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with limited support infrastructure.
  • Self-starter who manages tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Highly resourceful and capable of addressing complex questions and objections creatively and strategically.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about business development, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to meeting sales targets.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, with experience using the platform to manage sales processes and track performance metrics.
Compensation $140k-$170k
