Senior Transmission Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design of overhead transmission lines from conceptual design through detailed engineering and construction support.
• Perform route selection studies , structure spotting, and line profiling using industry-standard tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, TOWER).
• Conduct engineering analyses for line sag, tension, structure loading, and clearances in compliance with NESC, IEEE, and applicable utility standards.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including plan and profile drawings , structure and foundation designs, bill of materials, and specifications.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance and quality reviews .
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives and schedules are met.
• Support permitting efforts by providing technical documentation and design details.
• Assist in cost estimating, proposal development, and risk assessment for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety , environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay Details: $131,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
