The Senior Manager, Data Solutions Delivery has accountability for the end-to-end coherence of the
technical design and its ability to achieve the expected outcomes in a manner consistent with
expectations and aligns with D&T's enterprise architecture and information security standards.
The Senior Manager, Data Solutions Delivery plays an active role in leading strategic projects and
initiatives. The role is accountable for working closely with business partners to align on scope, and will
maintain the technical roadmap of technology solutions in collaboration with their respective business
stakeholders.
The role manages the technical build team and is accountable for all work performed by the team under
their leadership. The Senior Manager, Data Solutions Delivery possesses an in depth knowledge of
relevant technologies, as well as a clear understanding of desired business goals and objectives of the
technology enabled products within their remit, and the business functions they support.

What you will deliver:
Communication
- Represents, interfaces with, and engages the relevant business partner(s), and acts as a fully
- integrated team leader representing aligned technology and business interests

- Responsible for ensuring business needs are sufficiently defined to enable successful initiative

Development
- Creates, maintains, prioritizes and sequences all initiative delivery and/or product backlog in
- collaboration with business stakeholders
- Facilitates the creation of functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories and acceptance
- tests as required.
- Manages and plans the implementation of the agreed technology roadmap in collaboration with Project / Product Managers and other Business Stakeholders
- Works closely with CF's architecture function to ensure alignment to standards as well as the facilitation of standards updates or development
- Acts as the team's technology decision making authority
- Ensures Business Stakeholders are aware of technology decisions implications
- Ensures Technical Solutions are compliant with Information Security requirements
- Coaches the development team members as required
- Ensures Quality Management processes and standards are adhered to and applied effectively by
- Testing and the broader development team
- Participates and/or leads project planning, periodic project team meetings, architecture design and technology reviews, ongoing project planning planning activities and any relevant project or solutions demonstrations
- Creates, maintains, prioritizes and sequences team activities based on mutually agreed business objectives
- Facilitates the creation of functional and nonfunctional requirements, test plans and cases,
- Prioritizes new projects / enhancements in alignment with relevant business partners and stakeholders.
- Works closely with business partners to align scope and timing expectations
- Works closely with CF's architecture and Information Security functions to ensure alignment and adherence to standards and enterprise requirements
- Provides feedback on technical designs and technology delivery activities as required
- Ensures industry or technology best practices are recognized and implemented as appropriate
Application Support
- Supports Incident resolution and Problem management processes as required
- Tracks systemic issues and champions the implementation of root cause remediation activities
- Establishes expected service levels and continually monitors performance to ensure adherence
- Assists with internal and external communication
- Leads the prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs in alignment with Business objectives
Management
- Regularly accessible to team and proactively supports the team in development activities
- Steers initiatives to ensure delivery of desired business objectives
- Visible, vocal, and objective in leading the team
- Provides encouragement, recognition, and support to the team leveraging performance
- management tools and techniques.
- Can and will suggest changes to initiative if believed necessary for achieving desired outcomes

What you need to succeed:
- 4-year college diploma or a university degree in computer systems design or computer science,
- and/or 10 years equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience
- in related stakeholder function
- Experience in Property Management Enterprise Solution, Record Management & Document
- Management applications, Concur Expense and other relevant domain specifics applications
- Thorough understanding of waterfall and agile software development methodologies, values,
- and procedures
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- In-depth knowledge of testing practices and techniques
- Understanding of organization's development platform and languages
- Ability to understand technical issues
- Advanced understanding of IT related best practices
