The Royal Caribbean Group's Marketing team has an exciting career opportunity for full-time Director, Co-Brand Credit Card reporting to the AVP, Loyalty & Onboard Marketing.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

This multi-branded role oversees the strategic management and growth of the Royal Caribbean Group cobranded credit card programs in partnership with financial institutions, i.e., bank and network. This role will optimize program performance, enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, and drive profitability through innovative features and benefits.

As Director, Co-Brand Credit Card, this position will lead a dynamic team of product, strategy and marketing individuals focused on deepening our relationship with our guests through credit card products. This role will proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve the guest experience, strengthen cardholder engagement, develop and optimize operational processes required to deliver a successful card program, and drive brand loyalty through a valuable credit card offering. Additionally, this position will play a crucial role in creating a seamless credit card engagement experience for prospective customers and cardholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new features, benefits, and strategies to drive long-term growth of
  • cobranded credit card programs.
  • Collaborate with partner bank, payment network, and marketing teams to align program
  • goals with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the program's innovation and expansion of capabilities.
  • Be the voice of the cardholders across both shoreside and shipboard teams providing actionable feedback for effective marketing, product development, and guest experience initiatives.
  • Lead program reporting by optimizing existing tools and creating new analytics processes to track performance metrics.
  • Provide insights into trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed reporting Manage and track all co-brand KPIs.
  • Manage internal audits, compliance requirements, and financial processes to ensure program efficiency.
  • Streamline operations such as merchant category code management
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop campaigns that promote cobranded credit cards effectively.
  • Support initiatives aimed at increasing customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with issuers, payment networks, and other partners.
  • Negotiate contracts to optimize value while ensuring quality standards


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing required (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years' experience in credit card, loyalty, travel loyalty preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in customer marketing
  • 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of loyalty across multiple industries required
  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional global environment
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze products, competitors and international market dynamics.
  • Consumer and trend-driven with an ability to connect macro / micro trends
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Demonstrated strength in communication and influencing skills; not only written and verbal, but also in the engagement of internal and external business partners
  • Skilled at partnering VP and C-level executives in driving strategic decision-making
  • Comfortable presentation to leadership at the brand and corporate level
