As a Lead Strategist on the Properties Program Initiatives team at Target, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our properties program within the enterprise. Your role involves identifying and coordinating high-impact opportunities across our portfolio of capabilities, leading cross-functional teams to develop actionable plans that enhance guest and consumer engagement, brand awareness, and operational excellence. You will balance strategic planning with tactical execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and driving innovation through data-driven insights.
Key responsibilities include leading across a diverse group of properties and enterprise partners, establishing Remodel program guardrails that align to key Long Range Planning metrics, driving accountability to Remodel program inputs and milestones, and elevating key decisions to appropriate stakeholders. This role requires strong strategic planning and prioritization skills, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to leverage data insights to drive business outcomes.
About you:
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. About you:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- High level of resiliency, personal accountability, collaboration and high comfort with ambiguity.
- Demonstrated success leading Cross-functional work beyond scope of job responsibilities
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills - an ability to listen for and filter robust inputs to make quick connections and communicate the most critical points in a clear, simple and actionable way - both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy to action and adjust strategy based on operational capabilities.
- Demonstrated high sense of curiosity and ability to drive clarity via storytelling.
- Ability to stay objective in the face of complexity and opposing viewpoints.
- Understanding of the Target Brand and store experience.
