Schedule: Full-time | Days
Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000 per year (based on experience)
Annual Bonus: Up to 15% Director Bonus (performance-based)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead a high-performing Emergency Department team in Tallahassee, FL. This leadership role focuses on service excellence, strategic growth, team development, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of enhancing emergency care delivery in large, acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Direct the Emergency Department, ensuring clinical excellence and quality care.
• Staff Development: Mentor and coach team members to support a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Performance Improvement: Monitor departmental compliance, quality benchmarks, and lead improvement initiatives.
• Patient Experience: Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, including employee and patient rounding.
• Operational Management: Optimize resource use, address workflow challenges, and uphold care standards.
• Collaboration: Engage with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and physicians to align department goals with organizational strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  
  • 3-5 years of recent Emergency Department Director-level leadership in an acute care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead performance improvement and staff development initiatives.
• Education:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  
  • Active RN license in Florida or eligibility to obtain.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required.

• Beds: 34
• Daily Volume: 130 patients
• Team Size: ~45 FTEs
• Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility
