POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Health Solutions will provide company-wide leadership in business strategy/growth, quality management, human resource management, and operations management for EM Key Solutions (EMKS). The Director of Health Solutions will work with the Executive Team to continually refine and implement the strategic growth plans to expand and position the corporation as a leader in providing information technology and management services.

The Director of Health Solutions will work with the EMKS leadership team and all employees to provide oversight and leadership in marketing/business development, operations, professional services, and the company's financial performance in their area of responsibility.

The Director of Health Solutions is expected to be skilled in balancing internal management with external leadership, business development, and visibility to support the company's growth goals. While managing the organization's overall activities, the Director of Health Solutions will foster an environment of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and innovation among the staff and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Company-wide Leadership
  • Guides and directs the program operations, including leading Program Managers, Project Managers, and other members of the leadership team towards the achievement of delivery goals and business growth
  • Coaches and develops individual leadership team members
  • Develops/maintains a leadership and management succession plan for program operations
  • Leads the execution of all business that supports ensuring growth targets are met
  • Actively leads and supports a positive, proactive, results-oriented work culture that peers and stakeholders regard as innovative and demonstrative of the company's values

Operations
  • Leads the operations of their area of responsibility to achieve the targeted key performance indicators
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining the "operating results" dashboard/processes and working with the leadership team to make operating adjustments to meet targets
  • Develops and monitors the overall operations and organizational structure of the corporation
  • Establishes policies and guidelines for operational excellence and regulatory compliance, including local, state, and federal markets
  • Provides guidance and oversight in the preparation of project understandings, schedules, budgets, fee proposals, and negotiations
  • Oversees the process for ensuring the proper work plans are in place, scheduling work, staffing, and compliance in the execution of projects
  • Ensures quality processes are in place for all divisions, specific to their project requirements
  • Works with the Executive Team and Human Resources Manager regarding policies, salary administration, and employee benefits to ensure the interest and welfare of the employees as individuals are preserved and protected, including the performance appraisal process
  • Supports company-wide development and training strategy for all personnel, working with the Human Resources Manager to support execution
  • Supports the development and implementation of a company-wide internal communication strategy
  • Supports a collaborative work environment within and between EMKS offices that is inclusive of all stakeholders (internal and external to the company)

Professional Services
  • Responsible for refining, implementing, and monitoring EMKS' delivery of the promise" for projects that create a positive experience with all stakeholders
  • Works with divisional and department leaders to develop "best of class" professional services offering in support of strategic plans
  • Supports efforts to obtain quality credentials such as ISO 9000, ISO 20000, CMMI ML3, etc, for EMKS

Marketing/Business Development
  • Works with the Executive Team, in particular the Vice President of Business Development, to ensure the company's marketing/business development plan is consistently executed in support of the EMKS' growth strategies
  • Supports the development and execution of national/local business/sector business development plans
  • Supports the development and execution of "strategic accounts" planning processes
  • Actively participates in strategic development and the pursuit of new clients and projects as well as organic growth
  • Works with the Executive Team and Business Development Team to assist in executing the company's "go/no go" strategies and policies in the best long-term interest of the corporation
  • Provides visible corporate leadership with potential and existing clients in all market sectors
  • Maintains working dialog with key clients, including federal, state, and local officials
  • Participates in the development and execution of key project and client presentations
  • Develops personal relationships/networking opportunities with allied market leaders, consultants, and other professionals

Financial Performance
  • Works with the Executive Team to ensure that the key financial performance indicators are in place to achieve the corporation's financial performance aligned with the strategic plan
  • Works with the Executive Team to develop and monitor the annual program operations budget in alignment with strategic growth efforts

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Demonstrated leadership of teams with a strong business growth record
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in management, business, program management, information systems, or a related field
  • Proven record in program management, PMP preferred
