Primary Function of Position
We are seeking a proven Program Manager to guide the ISI Commercial Organization through many critical projects on our roadmap in 2019. These projects require a coordinated approach to work through dependencies, overlaps, bottlenecks, and risks to create a seamless approach for the enterprise. This high-visibility role will interact with Senior Leadership to gain alignment on priorities, secure resources, and drive success. The candidate will be a collaborative communicator able to lead and facilitate decision making; a solid relationship builder; focused; able to identify the essential few projects that will drive success; and skilled at building engagement and change management throughout our global Commercial Organization.
This will be a contract position, with the ability to convert to a full time permanent hire.

Roles and Responsibilities
This position has responsibility and authority to:
Drive progress on many projects of various size and scope.
Coordinate, facilitate, and communicate resource management plans, conflict resolutions, and project/program metrics
Identify bottlenecks and risks across the portfolio
Ensure alignment across regions and functions to help build scalable solutions
Monitor and report portfolio status including milestones, rankings, and metrics to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management
Prepare & Present at monthly Steering Committee meeting of Senior Leadership on status of projects, roadblocks, resource needs, timelines, etc.
Create project teams and ensure they are operating at peak performance.
Help guide projects and programs to strategic objectives collaborating with and aligning Executives, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations
Change management including rolling out new business processes in a large organization, Adoption measurements, and training needed
Demonstrate value of the Portfolio Management process through presentations, reports, and dashboards supporting strategic business decision making and project execution success
Collaborate closely with IT teams (to drive Salesforce and other development) and Enterprise Analytics (for creation of Tableau dashboards and data models)
Develop and lead change management and adoption implementation including training activities and success metrics
Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
Persuades and influences others with effective verbal and written communication.
Understands the value of process-centric approach to business analysis and capability development.

Competency Requirements
Competency is based on: education, training, skills, and experience. In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must have the following:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of previous related program management, strategic planning, or portfolio management experience desired, medical devices experience preferred
Experience leading cross-functional matrixed teams
Knowledge of Intuitive Surgical's commercial organization, business model, and key processes.
Proven record of success delivering challenging projects
Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma (LSS green or higher belt preferred)
Working knowledge of PMI project management techniques and tools
Familiar with multiple product delivery methods
Strong experience with investments/projects outcome measurement
Change management experience
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for creating easy, robust, and reliable tools and processes
Highly proficient in Salesforce, Office, Visio, and enterprise database tools
Familiar with database technologies and tools
