Your Impact:
As the Sr. Manager, Engineering Enablement, you will spearhead a crucial function within a dynamic team that charts the course for OpenText products. This pivotal role offers the exciting challenge of leading and empowering a talented, globally distributed team to create and deliver impactful enablement content. Your leadership will ensure the technical proficiency of our Employees across diverse geographical locations and key roles.
This position demands close collaboration with the Engineering & Product leadership and global colleagues to pinpoint enablement needs and skill gaps, subsequently driving the development of targeted programs. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of these programs, critically assessing their effectiveness through rigorous tracking of metrics, results, and improvements in team performance across different countries. A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with cross-functional enablement teams to guarantee alignment with overarching OpenText messaging and strategies on a global scale.
Reporting directly to the VP, Engineering PMO, the ideal candidate for this high-visibility, high-impact role is an experienced and exceptionally organized leader with a passion for developing and implementing onboarding and enablement programs for a multi-national team, always with an eye toward continuous improvement and cultural sensitivity.

What the role offers:
As a Sr. Manager, Engineering Enablement, you will:
- Lead a global team to design and deliver scalable onboarding and everboarding programs that align with OpenText's product strategy and technology roadmap.
- Ensure a consistent, high-impact onboarding experience across regions to accelerate time-to-productivity and foster early engagement and retention.
- Develop continuous learning (everboarding) programs to support global upskilling and career development for engineering talent.
- Gather feedback and analyze metrics to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly across diverse global audiences and organizational levels.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior leadership, showcasing enablement outcomes and strategic insights.
What you need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's in Education, Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred, with 5+ years of enablement experience in global tech organizations.
- Proven ability to independently lead cross-functional enablement projects across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Experience designing and implementing global training curricula and learning paths for Engineering roles.
- Strong analytical skills to assess needs, design solutions, and measure the impact of enablement programs.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, blended learning, and virtual classroom technologies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
