This role is dedicated to the Strategy & Consulting (S&C), U.S. Commercial "vertical", which focuses on Pfizer's U.S. commercial efforts spanning Pfizer's Primary Care, Specialty Care and Oncology Business Units (BUs). Our main stakeholders include the Chief U.S. Commercial Officer, the U.S. BU Presidents and their leadership teams. Our projects define, shape, develop and enable execution of strategies to advance and grow these businesses in support of Pfizer's overall growth ambitions. Colleagues work on projects related to key issues, business priorities/products, and provide insights into the market and competitive dynamics that could impact business performance or strategic direction.
As a Senior Manager in this team, you will have three main accountabilities:
You will have frequent exposure to a variety of senior leadership (VPs and Presidents) across Pfizer's different business units, helping to build your network for a long and successful career at Pfizer. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,100.00 to $225,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Your Responsibilities
- Interact with BU leaders and/or corporate functions to understand their business needs and develop strategies at the regional level (in particular US).
- Contribute to the completion of annual strategies and plans that guide the execution of the strategies.
- Lead workstreams on projects that provide insight and direction for key strategic levers such as market development, customer needs assessment, competitive advantage, market and/or product prioritization.
- Direct small project and cross-functional teams of colleagues with varying levels of experience, coaching and developing them to build capability and performance.
- Create an engaging and productive work environment where team members are encouraged to collaborate and excel, and provide mentorship to junior resources.
- Participate in external networking and thought partnership to broaden functional expertise and maintain awareness of industry trends.

- Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills, as evidenced by the ability to tee up the right questions, identify alternative scenarios, articulate resulting implications, and develop recommendations for decision-making or action
- Demonstrated project leadership, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority (Category Presidents, department leaders, and functional counterparts)
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, including technical proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to coach Junior team members
- Understanding of trends and market dynamics in US and Global healthcare and biopharmaceuticals, awareness of competitor strategies, and understanding of the drug development process
- Excellent presentation skills sufficient to address BU Leadership, and external audiences
- Strong command of English language, spoken and written.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years of relevant experience: Relevant healthcare experience includes experience working in/with consulting, commercial biopharma functions involving strategy development and/or strategic initiatives (e.g., marketing, commercial development, market access & pricing, etc.)
Preferred Experience
- Advanced degree (Masters/MBA plus 5yr, or PhD plus 1yr, or MD)
- 2+ years of biopharmaceutical consulting experience
- US Commercial experience preferred

- Location: Our roles require a high level of collaboration and are subject to Pfizer's flexible hybrid policy of 2- 3 days per week working from our brand-new NYC-based global headquarters.
