The Role

The Signature Project Manager will lead and inspire cross-functional teams to seamlessly execute large, multi-unit, high-value projects. This role involves professionally managing client-focused projects to improve internal processes and positively impact client expectations. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled project manager who can influence stakeholders and move projects forward with professional gravitas, while navigating complex organizational landscapes. You will be an exceptional communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences, and adept at managing change while fostering strong relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively influence without direct authority, anticipate challenges, and proactively implement solutions.

Responsibilities

    • Gather and analyze customer requirements by deeply understanding customer and project goals, needs, and pain points to define project scope and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed project plans and timelines, assign tasks to cross-functional team members, and monitor progress against established milestones.
    • Effectively communicate with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed about project status, address issues promptly, and manage expectations.
    • Drive internal process improvements throughout all phases of the project to mitigate risk and ensure a standardized process for future projects, incorporating learnings from past projects.
    • Identify potential challenges and proactively develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
    • Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive updates, and timely addressing of concerns.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet client specifications as well as Waterworks quality standards.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Identify and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships.
    • Adapt to changing project requirements, internal processes, and client needs.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in construction or commercial/hospitality interiors.
    • PMP Certification preferred.
    • Ability to influence formally and informally in a complex organization.
    • Focus on process improvement.
    • Proven success in keeping teams and projects on track and on budget.
    • Organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Service-oriented with an awareness of internal and external customer needs.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, exporting, advanced reporting).
    • Available to be on call during off hours and weekends.
    • International business and experience with plumbing and/or surfaces is a plus.
    • Required travel up to 50% both domestic and international.
