What You'll Lead
- Lead and coach Business Development Representatives with structure and support.
- Maintain a personal book of accounts focused on key and strategic customers.
- Drive growth in complex segments including plate forming, large-scale fabrication, and project supply chains.
- Conduct 1:1 development and territory-level pipeline reviews.
- Unify messaging and brand standards across a diverse region.
- Partner with Inside Sales and Operations to ensure smooth execution and service.
- Travel the region to meet customers, support reps, and stay close to the action.
What You Bring to the Role
- 5+ years of industrial sales or business development (steel, fabrication, construction supply, or manufacturing).
- Prior experience mentoring or managing a sales team.
- Regional travel experience across large geographies-you're comfortable operating independently.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
- CRM fluency (Salesforce or similar).
- A competitive drive and people-first mentality.
Extra Credit If You've Got:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing.
- Familiarity with markets like wind tower production, utility-scale infrastructure, or Western energy sectors.
- Sales experience in multi-brand or decentralized company structures.
- Experience operating in high-autonomy roles with executive visibility.
