We are a diverse team of scientists working to advance the efforts of Lilly innovation to reach the patient faster. The LEM team is looking for a self-motivated individual with a growth mindset who will play a key role in the LEM Mass Spec / Antibody Engineering Organization. We need someone with experience in chemistry, biochemistry and protein analytics. The focus of this position is to apply innovative protein biochemistry technologies toward our group's clinical biomarker program and understanding the immunogenicity of our large molecule portfolio. This role will be responsible for qualitative and quantitative protein analyses on multiple instrument platforms, mass spectra interpretation, statistical analysis, and solid experimental design.

Basic Requirements:
B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$64,500 - $182,600
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). - Contribute to the large molecule immunogenicity assessment with particular focus on immunoprecipitation procedures, high resolution LC-MS/MS data acquisition and analysis.
- Design and implementation of improvements to existing mass spec and data analytic platforms.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team effort consisting of scientists with expertise in immunology, protein biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, mass spectrometry, chromatography, and statistics.
- Maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.

Basic Requirements:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with data analysis software (JMP, KNIME, multiple proteomics search engines, Pinpoint, Skyline, PEAKS).
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical research environment.
- Proficient with liquid chromatography techniques.
- Prior work with liquid handling automation.
- Previous experience with molecular biology techniques.
- Previous experience with cell culture techniques.
