SPCSHP is looking for a Copywriter with experience in DTC pharma writing. Our ideal candidate would be a conceptual thinker who can write engaging copy and come up with brilliant ideas for a variety of mediums; video, social, long form, short form, and everything in between. You should be able to work collaboratively. This role is for a beauty / pharma brand, so pharma experience is required.

The salary band for this role is $75 - $110k. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.

Roles + Responsibilities:
- Creating advertising copy for digital and social campaigns
- Helping with proofreading and addressing client feedback
- Ensuring high-quality content consistency across all content and maintaining brand integrity
- Understand the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating it into attractive copy
- Receive feedback and use it to grow and improve as a writer
- Keep copy consistent and identifiable for each client and tone of voice
- Work within the parameters of a brief agreed upon with the client, creative director, strategy and account teams
- Think creatively to produce and develop concepts
- Present concepts to creative directors, account management and clients
- Work collaboratively with each discipline to reach client needs
Requirements
- 2-4 years of copywriting experience at an agency or brand in-house group
- Familiar with FDA pharma advertising regulations and the regulatory review process
- Willing to roll up sleeves and jump in where needed at any point across the project life span
- Highly creative problem-solver-able to come up with copy that meets pharma requirements but feels like consumer beauty
- Social media savvy, fluent in beauty trends and aware of top wellness influencers
- Experience writing both short and long-form content across all digital and traditional channels including but not limited to email, social, video, etc.
- Ability to interface with client medical-legal reviewers to achieve mutual goals
- Organized and detail-obsessed, ensuring consistency with brand standards, copy editing, grammar and spelling.
- Ability to review and implement feedback
- Strong research skills to ensure all copy is correct and accurate
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
- Maintain and evolve copy libraries and processes, ensuring consistency across all touch points.
- Willing to work with a team to get the job done
