Summary
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member to provide leadership and oversight of the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine Stepped Care (TCHATT-SC) and TCHATT-Anxiety Initiatives. These programs, funded by the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), aim to deliver efficient, effective school-based telehealth therapy across Texas.
- Oversee the implementation of the TCHATT-SC and TCHATT-Anxiety Initiatives, including maintaining partnerships with other Texas institutions to deliver stepped care models.
- Supervise training in evidence-based therapies utilized within the initiatives.
- Establish and lead a measurement-based care approach across all participating sites.
- Coordinate with TCHATT leadership to ensure consistency in assessment and treatment delivery.
- Conduct and produce quality improvement analyses to enhance program outcomes.
- Liaise with TCMHCC leadership, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.
- Provide clinical supervision within TCMHCC projects and the Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine.
- Engage in clinical psychology research initiatives and educational activities within the department.
- Disseminate findings from clinical research and quality improvement projects through presentations, community outreach, and collaboration with advocacy organizations.
- Publish research articles annually as both first and co-author.
- Provide training to clinicians and staff on therapeutic procedures, manuals, and experimental tasks.
- Supervise and mentor learners, offering structured feedback, evaluation, and career development support.
- Teach and mentor through a variety of methods, including lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Collaborate with departmental educational leadership to provide learner updates and participate in mission-driven educational initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Licensed or license eligible as a Psychologist in the state of Texas.
- Experience in school-based mental health services, telehealth delivery models, and evidence-based therapy.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision, research dissemination, and learner mentorship.
- Strong commitment to academic collaboration, quality improvement, and community engagement.
