Why Join Omnicell?

Omnicell is a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, dedicated to transforming the pharmacy care delivery model. Our 340B service offerings empower healthcare organizations to optimize operations and improve patient outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our collaborative Project Management Office (PMO) and drive impactful business projects. As a Project Manager within our PMO, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving new product enhancements and business process improvements for Omnicell 340B service offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Engineering, Implementation, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to deliver high-quality projects that align with Omnicell's strategic goals.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you will:
Define and oversee project scope, schedule, and resource allocation for software solution projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear project boundaries and manage scope changes effectively.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Asana to track progress, dependencies, and milestones across software development lifecycles (SDLC), including new product enhancements, software framework projects, and process optimizations.
Organize, schedule, and facilitate Agile and hybrid project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews, to ensure alignment and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Monitor, track, and communicate progress of project tasks and milestones, leveraging data-driven metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, critical path analysis) to provide transparent updates via dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
Measure project performance using industry-standard tools and techniques, such as earned value management (EVM), key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality assurance metrics, to ensure deliverables meet technical, operational, and customer expectations.
Document and follow up on critical actions, decisions, and lessons learned, maintaining organized repositories (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) to support auditability, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.
Conduct proactive risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and operational risks, such as integration challenges, resource bottlenecks, or cybersecurity vulnerabilities, to minimize disruptions to project timelines and processes.
Maintain and archive project documentation, including requirements specifications, technical designs, test plans, and change logs, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Report project status and escalate issues to management promptly, providing actionable recommendations to address roadblocks, resource constraints, or deviations from scope, budget, or timeline.
Lead and manage the end-to-end project process (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure) for software solution initiatives, including custom software development, SaaS enhancements, API integrations, and operational process optimizations, ensuring adherence to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
Drive project requirements, execution, development, and deployment by collaborating with Product Management to refine user stories, partnering with Software Engineering to ensure technical feasibility, and coordinating with Implementation and Operations teams to support seamless deployment and post-launch support within scope and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Management, Product Engineering, Implementation, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to align project objectives with strategic goals, validate technical deliverables, and ensure high-quality outcomes that meet customer and business needs.
Host and facilitate dynamic project meetings, delivering regular status updates through tailored communication channels (e.g., email, Slack, executive briefings) to keep technical and non-technical stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and execute mitigation plans to address challenges such as resource shortages, technical debt, or shifting priorities, leveraging contingency planning and stakeholder negotiation to maintain project momentum and quality.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, engaging stakeholders through active listening, transparent decision-making, and team-building initiatives to drive accountability, innovation, and project success in a fast-paced software solutions ecosystem.
