How You'll Make an Impact
As the VP of Data Activation, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and monetizing integrations between Epsilon People Cloud and 3rd party marketing and advertising platforms. This is a newly created position within the organization reporting to the SVP of Product that will focus on product strategy and product development in conjunction with Epsilon's strategic partners. The leader selected for this role will need to understand dynamics of the digital advertising industry and intricacies of each partner's platform. This knowledge will be instrumental in both developing products that connect EPC with partners as well as guiding internal, agency, and brand teams on effective use of these platforms to achieve their data driven marketing goals. Epsilon People Cloud and this role especially, sit at an exciting intersection of MarTech and AdTech with the assets to effectively connect these worlds, a promise no company has effectively achieved.
This role will play a key part in building the future of Epsilon's PeopleCloud. To achieve success in this role, you will need to be able to translate the needs of our clients to a broad cross functional set of internal partners, prioritizing what will enable growth for Epsilon. As part of this role, you will be asked to set product strategy, engage with a broad set of stakeholders and manage to KPIs that that measure success.
This is highly strategic role that requires a resourceful individual with organizational experience and savvy, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and excellent communication skills. You will have a proven track record for growing businesses through innovation and customer first Product leadership.

Base Salary: $176,000 -$293,000
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You'll Achieve
- Responsible to develop a vision and set the strategic direction for Epsilon People Cloud integrations with strategic partners in the paid media space, with an emphasis on Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Social Platforms.
- Create and execute a strategy enabling brands to incorporate owned channels, in addition to paid channels, via a common audience strategy.
- Develop guidelines on effective use of partner platforms to the benefit of mutual clients and Epsilon. Educate and equip teams at Epsilon, partner agencies, and brands with the knowledge to help achieve their marketing goals. A key aspect is connecting audience strategy and development with media execution and measurement, driving the best possible marketing outcomes for our clients.
- Ensure all product development priorities have a clear benefit, aligning with client needs, business growth, and overall technology strategy.
- Own and drive the whole product lifecycle from design, launch and developing cross functional partnerships working in partnership across Product to set priorities.
- Define product requirements and roadmaps including feasibility, effort, financial impact (revenue / cost savings) and strategic value.
- Ensure the Marketing team is aligned with Product strategy on market positioning, product ideation/realization, hiring/training programs, and product management work products.
- Critical partner to other Product & Marketing stakeholders across the business, communicating plans, elevating questions, and paving our path forward; leveraging your knowledge of the market to influence the business and connect the dots for key stakeholders to drive increased alignment.
- Research and offer recommendations to keep the Product organization on a path of continuous improvement.
Who You Are
- Ability to comfortably span business management, client and commercial team engagement, functional product design and development, and the technical details underpinning it all. Must be able to lead product transformation visioning and roadmap, while at the same time willing to lead day-to-day activities across client usage of existing products and engineering development of new products.
- Deep industry knowledge of the role of data to drive Marketing and Advertising strategies as well as familiarity with prominent companies in the adtech space.
- A minimum of 8 years in a Product role focused on Data Driven Advertising, with bonus of having exposure to MarTech products such as CDPs and Data Clean Rooms.
- Strong collaboration skills and commitment to interdisciplinary thinking - ability to work across teams focused on strategy, technology, and data in service to new product solutions.
- Successful managing and delivering a wide variety product solution to internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills.
- Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of competitive information, market awareness and product positioning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative
- BA/BS degree. Advanced degree and/or MBA desirable.
