Job Description
I. General Summary
- Under general supervision, assists in strategic planning design and implementation of core technologies. Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions over projects. Participates utilizing project management skills to include planning, scheduling & testing, leading to successful go-lives. Intermediate technical skills and working knowledge in vertical.
II. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. These are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.
- Assists System Administrator Sr. in designing, building, implementing, and developing operational plans for a Hospital Datacenter.
- Assists in day to day operations for all hardware, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backups, patching, as well as monitoring the health of core applications.
- Assists in designing, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment and top-level support ownership of verticals.
Qualifications
III. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years of IT experience or the equivalent of education, experience and IT certification/s.
- Experienced with systems administration design in an enterprise environment to include data center migrations, up-time, disaster recovery and capacity security planning preferred.
- Experience with managing Epic Windows Servers, Printing systems and Client endpoint software.
