Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Data Governance Analyst to join the Common Data Platform Program Team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing and translating data governance and management requirements into actionable processes that promote compliance, data quality, accountability, and secure data access. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders across the Federal Reserve System and contributing to enterprise-wide data initiatives using modern governance tools and frameworks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and integrate data governance and policy requirements from the Board of Governors, National Business Lines, and Reserve Banks.
  • Develop and implement methodologies to monitor and measure compliance with data access and governance policies.
  • Design and implement attribute-based access control models; guide transition from role-based to attribute-based access models.
  • Develop and write access control policies using Immuta.
  • Conduct risk and compliance assessments; recommend improvements to enhance data governance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Work with Agile Release Teams on complex enterprise-wide data governance projects and enhancements.
  • Provide expertise in data access methodology, governance frameworks, master data management, and quality system development.
  • Support integration of governance tools including Immuta and Collibra.
  • Ensure all solutions align with enterprise data and analytics standards and policies.


Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, information management, or related IT roles.
  • Strong experience in data access and governance frameworks including attribute-based access controls.
  • Hands-on experience writing access control policies and utilizing tools such as Immuta.
  • Proficient in compliance monitoring, policy integration, and governance reporting.
  • Ability to work on large, complex, and cross-functional data initiatives within Agile environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience integrating Immuta and Collibra.
  • Familiarity with data licensing, records management, and enterprise risk frameworks.
  • Prior experience working within or alongside regulatory bodies or public institutions.


Certifications

Relevant certifications in data governance, information security, or data management are a plus (e.g., CDMP, CIPP, CGEIT).

Education: Bachelors Degree
