Our Ideal Candidate
We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Calgary office. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for conceptual design, front-end and detailed engineering of process plants including the development of PFDs, P&IDs, controls, logic, safety systems, etc. Leading and mentoring junior engineers is also a key responsibility.

What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting specifically Oil & Gas including Oil Sands, Conventional oil and natural gas processing facilities
- Detailed knowledge of process design, process simulation, equipment sizing and hydraulic analysis
- Experience in the development of PFDs, PIDs and other process engineering documentation
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team of junior engineers
- HAZOP/Operability studies experience
- Ability to lead the engineering efforts on small to medium size process projects
- Ability to manage budget and schedule of small to medium size projects
- Experience with instrumentation and controls engineering principals
- Experience with mechanical equipment selection
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationship with clients to ensure their expectations are understood and delivered upon
- Experience in developing technical and commercial proposals for new projects
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment
