About Your Role
Our Senior Procurement Specialist will work in partnership with department leaders on their purchasing needs balancing cost, risk, terms and speed. As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will coordinate and manage all software renewals, ensuring proper license quantities and types to meet our needs. With QGenda's SVP of IT, you will negotiate new vendor contracts ensuring QGenda's contractual needs are met while adhering to departmental budgets and allowing the business to continue advancing business initiatives.

About Your Role
Our Senior Procurement Specialist will work in partnership with department leaders on their purchasing needs balancing cost, risk, terms and speed. As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will coordinate and manage all software renewals, ensuring proper license quantities and types to meet our needs. With QGenda's SVP of IT, you will negotiate new vendor contracts ensuring QGenda's contractual needs are met while adhering to departmental budgets and allowing the business to continue advancing business initiatives.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Facilitate new vendor and renewal negotiations in partnership with department leadership.
- Benchmark purchases to ensure we are getting the best value for the services we need.
- Manage contract renewals from beginning to end; aligning with department leadership on number of licenses, package and tier alignment, and contract terms.
- Ensure new vendor and renewal contracts meet security requirements and required business terms.
- Evaluate redundant vendors to recommend consolidation and savings opportunities.
- Maintain an organized repository of vendor contracts and key contract terms.
- Strong understanding of subscription/software contracts
- Passion for negotiation
- Ability to build rapport with senior leaders
- Data analysis
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 3-5 years of procurement experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
